In this type of bearings, the rollers and racetracks are essentially cylindrical. They may however, be ground slightly curved in order to achieve a small degree of flexibility. The rollers are guided between two leaps on either the inner or outer race. The other race may be provided with either no leap, one leap or two leaps according to the duty which bearings has to perform.
